选矿药剂主要指捕收剂、起泡剂、抑制剂、絮凝剂、调整剂, 及湿法冶金中所用的萃取剂、萃取用基质改善剂、稀释剂等, 涉及各类无机或有机合成物数百种。其中列入我国水中优先控制污染物黑名单( 68种)的选矿药剂有24种(包括砷、铍、镉、铬、汞、镍、铊、铜、铅及其化合物), 对环境有害的化学药剂有氰化物、硫化氢、磷化氢、氟化物、砷化物、重铬酸盐、硫酸铜、硫酸锌、二硫化碳、亚硫酸、各类烷基黄药、有机磷、脂肪醇、苯胺、吡啶、烃、烯、醚、酮、醛酯等上百种。
